Excellent one night stay
Excellent stay for a Christmas party in the area. Good local pub with good beer choices. Breakfast was delicious also and the landlady was very pleasant

Bad timing?
Unfortunate timing I guess but the ere was no food in the evening or cooked breakfast. The owner and manager were very nice and apologetic. But as the pub is pretty isolated it was not ideal. Also decided to close at 10pm. Hopefully they will get it sorted in the future as they are really nice people and a special mention to Marple the dog.

I was very well received and given a bigger room because there was no WiFi in operation and the owners were on the cusp of a changeover of management. We had a lovely meal in the evening.
