Andaman Cannacia Resort & Spa

Hotel was lovely and luxurious, but the only rooms worth staying in are Canna Deluxe & above as the others are in a hotel wing that stinks of a sewer (it's close to one). Staff are exceptionally helpful when you can find them. Pool service is slow. Pool pictures are misleading as there is no swim up bar anymore. Very clean place. Very relaxing stay. Food and drink is exceptional. This hotel is up a very steep hill which gives it stunning view, we only walked the hill once and stuck with tuk tuks. The free bus from reception is intermittent and goes to a scruffy place on kata beach during the day. We loved the hotel and hated the hill and how hard it was to get into town for dinner.

We love our sea view room. Waking up to the sound of the crashing wave every morning is both therapeutic and revitalizing. A perfect enclave to recharge and rest. Good Breakfast or menu with more local flavors will encouraged us to dine in the hotel. F&B quality is average..

Staff at both the reception and in the dining area were highly service-oriented and friendly. The grounds of the hotel were kept meticulously clean, fallen leaves etc after rainfall cleared out of the swimming pool. The free shuttle bus down to the beach area was a bonus. It stated that an iron and ironing board were available on request but when I asked for this service only an iron was available:(
