lovely quiet rooms
Great for an over-nite stop as you do not hear any traffic noise from the N3. Rooms are really large with amazingly huge King Beds. Friendly staff No meals served due to Covid -19 however there is a Mugg and Bean;Steers and Debonairs not 100 metres from the hotel.

The Hotel (General) Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is dated and needs an upgrade. Main Gripe Hotel.com confirmation stated "free breakfast". However Protea Management only provided a 20% discount voucher at the Mugg & Bean!

Excellent stop over at Montrose Harrismith
It was an excellent half way stop to our journey. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. When it comes to the condition, the bathroom could be updated (re-tiled and painted etc.) Thanks
