I am a traveler and going around the world every week. it’s the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Receptionist was really rude. We arrived to hotel. Our baby was crying and I told receptionist that “let my wife and the baby to the room and I will come back and finish the procedure(payment). I even told her that keep my credit card with you but she didn’t accept that. We had problem with the heating. I asked help but “she said “if it is not working they didn’t open it”. I can tell a lot of things about this property but I will definitely not stay here again and don’t recommend this property at all.
DO NOT book here - this property is NOT safe!!! Women beware! I wish I could give this hotel a good review. Honestly my room was great (I booked a single room with private bathroom). It suited my needs perfectly. BUT - after the incident that occurred, I was terrified and can never recommend this place. My room was broken into overnight - someone entered my room while I slept!!! - my purse was taken, ransacked, valuables taken, and thrown into the closet by the front door. This is the stuff of nightmares and horror movies, esp for a single woman! I didn't realize it until the morning when I couldn't find my purse and panicked - then panicked even more when I realized I'd been robbed! I was very shaken up and scared, knowing that it could have been so much worse (I could have been raped or murdered!!!) When I went to the front desk to report this, they said they don't have security cameras in the hallway (only the lobby), and that "I could call the police if I wanted to." I was also offered a coffee to help "calm me down." I was so upset I left immediately and got out of the city. The doors on the rooms are key entry (no deadbolt, no key card) and the lobby stays open until 9pm. So it could have been another guest, a local in the area that knew of the hotel's security flaws, or a hotel employee. It would have to have been someone that knew the hotel room layout, that I was a woman travelling alone, and that I had gone to bed for the night. So creepy!!!
No soap, no shampoo. minimal towels. room was tired looking
Simple but clean and Anika at the reception helped us to get oriented and to find good places to go.
Cafard dans la chambre, pas de climatisation avec 42 degrés, clim à l'accueil mais pas dans les chambres et aucun geste commercial n'a été proposé
Clean and comfortable room. Great location 5-6 min from the train station.
Experience was not-so-good. We booked this location as the bus from the airport went to the train station and we were getting a train next morning. The apartment was a manageable walk from the station but the neighborhood seems a bit suspect. We notified the managers when we booked of the time we would be arriving but when we got there the front door was locked and we hadn't received any email to say this would be the case. A friendly tenant of the building helped us by letting us into the reception area and rang the phone number on the door and we got into the apartment eventually. When we asked the manager next morning why we weren't notified about the closing of the desk we were told they didn't have our email address - if this is the case then there is a BIG problem with the hotels.com booking system. No apology was given as the manager didn't seem to care. The apartment was a reasonable size and had an adequate kitchen/kitchenware. The lighting was inadequate and very dull - looked like low wattage bulbs were used to cut the running costs. It seems some of the apartment are rented to long term tenants. Wouldn't stay at this place again.
It is unbelievable that there is no hairdryer in every room and clients should borrow it from the front desk if necessary. However, it is ridiculously that passport must be left at the front desk until the hairdryer is returned.
Having had a smelly room for 6 days with no WiFi. . At check out Sunday I ask the Lady to use the toilet i was told I couldn't use the toilet downstairs because it wasn't working. . The idea that people pay money to stay in a place and can't use the toilet is something I have never experienced before. ..
I like staying here when ever am in bordeaux But this time I was very disappointed with the room i was given smelly bathroom and 6 days no WiFi in the room which was really annoying. ..had to go outside or downstairs to get wifi.
