Trendy, great location, noisy
It was a good stay, don’t get me wrong. A nice, albeit expensive room for the size. The staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent- less than two blocks from the central and Piccadilly lines. But the doors of the hotel do not mask noise AT ALL. If it were just the door to the hallway, that wouldn’t be terrible as people don’t generally congregate in the hall, and I can even get over the fact that I could hear every door close as if it were right next door. But my room had a connecting door to the room next door and I could hear every word as if it were in my room. Add to that they were redoing some of the rooms and moving furniture down the hallway, and the plumbing that made loud gurgling noises every time the rooms above me used the water. I really wanted to love this hotel and make it my go-to for my visit to London. But I am going to keep looking. Quiet is important to me.

This was our second time staying here for NYE and it was wonderful once again. They even gave everyone a New Years gift of a notebook which I thought was a very unique and personal touch. Looking forward to staying again!

Only disappointment was the breakfast which could have been more copious. I seem to recall that at the last stay we were able to take breakfast in the dining room...

Poor 2,0
The floor was under construction. Heat in the room was difficult to manage and the bed very uncomfortable. Service at the front desk was poor, not following through on requests properly or misreading multiple times our reservation. We left early and booked somewhere else. It was worth paying to leave.

Anyas 21st stay
We had a lovely stay . It was our daughters 21st birthday and she had a lovely surprise with balloons in her room and a complimentary drink too . The staff both at reception and in the restaurant were very good and found us a table to enjoy drinks at and later in the evening bringing our daughter a surprise chocolate biscuit with a candle in and sang happy birthday .

Long layover
We had a long layover in London so we didn’t get to explore the area like I wanted but when we walked in I was surprised to see the vibe of the hotel. It was really cool and trendy. It has that ‘farm to table’ feel. A lot of people not staying at the hotel hung out in the restaurant and lobby area. It looked like just a fun meeting point. They said they have live bands on other nights that we weren’t there. Super cool place. We got the smallest room since we were just there a night. Bathroom was a little snug but that’s to be expected. We didn’t have suitcases but would have been difficult moving around some big ones. Would for sure stay again.
