Highly recommend!
The staff was really friendly and the AC was powerful! Which is really crucial given the Belize heat. The hotels location is perfect and there is free parking. The room had everything we needed plus a patio and would recommend to anyone needing a hotel in Belize City

We loved being in a location where we could walk everywhere in Belize City. David and Judy were the perfect hosts. Judy helped me book the cave tubing excursion (you have to do this). she also suggested favorite restaurants, and we tried them all and loved the ambiance and the local food choices. Our room had everything we needed, especially the shaded deck for reading. The bed and pillows were the best and the bathroom very roomy. Thank you, David and Judy, for a wonderful vacation in Belize City. Barb

Great service
We booked, but a plumbing issue prevented us from staying there. We were contacted in advance, and rather than refunding and forcing us to find somewhere last minute, they set us up with a reservation at a nearby very nice hotel. Excellent service, very helpful.

The place was awesome. The reviews I read were right on point. I felt like I was at home. The only downside is lots of stairs if your on the top level and my shower water was just luke warm. Those were not an issue for me because I needed the exercise and the scenery while walking was beautiful. If you need the shower cut up just ask. They are very accomodating. Breakfast was delicious!!

We stayed at One South Place Hotel and it was such a great experience. The staff and owners are very attentive and so nice. Staying here really made you feel like you came home. One thing that stood out was the fact that they all learned our names and had real conversations with us. I met Judy at check in and she made it very smooth and quick so we could get to our rooms and settle with our kids. We later met David and he got to talking sports with my husband and kids, since thats what they are into. Lincoln helped us to our rooms and showed us how everything works. Chester provided transportation for us for some of our outings. We were able to walk to restaurants, and shops for anything we needed. The staff also can recommend restaurants and help direct you to anywhere or anything you want to do. The personal touches, the dedication and hard work definitely makes this hotel stand out like a rare diamond. We also had breakfast downstairs, we tried local dishes and we fell in love. The 2 ladies in the kitchen are awesome chefs. Our server was very lovely, she made great fresh drinks and smoothies! We truly enjoyed our stay, such a beautiful hotel and people!
