Good Base for Lincolnshire Wolds
Very convenient place to stay, has its own car park and, if you like shopping, is right next to a shopping centre which has a traditional market on the ground floor and all the usual shops that you would expect to find in a shopping centre, on the second floor. Did not use the restaurant but it looked very nice. Room was ok and I loved the bag left outside our door for with the towels, toiletries and tea/coffee in it. Wasn't very impressed with Grimsby but Cleethorpes was cute in an old fashioned type of way. Stayed there to walk in the Lincolnshire Wolds

Hotel is clean and comfortable, if a little dated, ideally located in the centre of town. The staff were friendly and helpful, although with COVID the breakfast staff were too busy to be attentive, and the breakfast was very expensive for what we had.

A breath of fresh air
The hotel had worked really hard to sanitise everything and make the stay safe. Really pleasant staff. Good food. After other experiences in UK hotels during the C19 times this was such a pleasant change. (It would be nice to be able to open the room windows a bit wider though!)

Great little hotel and value for money
I would highly recommend this lovely hotel. Rooms a little dated but for the price can’t complain. Staff lovely and towels and toiletries etc exceptional. Very Covid 19 aware and everything in room down to tv remote was in a plastic bag. Shame that there are works going on at fri t if the hotel at the moment so to get into town have to cross busy road and go under underpass if freshney centre closed.

Great couple of nights away
Hotel was clean and the Covid measures in place were very reassuring. Hotel is slightly tired in places but excellent value considering the location, price and fact parking is included. Staff were all wonderful and couldn’t do enough.

Lets start...would I stay again? YES Room was OK. Carpets threadbare..fixtures very very old. You cannot plug anything in without risking electrical safety... sockets are flush to the desk...where is the cable supposed to go?? Even the kettle couldnt be fully plugged in..pretty dangerous if you ask me. Spotlessly clean despite the age of the fixtures and fittings. Staff were friendly enough. Responded to covid measures well.
