    Bed and Breakfast-ish

The property and room were very nice. Breakfast was chef's choice, and dietary restrictions were REPEATEDLY ignored.

The Staff at Adair made the visit! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful; I felt very “at home”. Further, the location is ideal; very close to hiking and in my case, ski resorts (Bretton Woods, Cannon, and even Loon isn’t too far). I look forward to my next stay!

Lovely Inn, exceptional staff, peaceful setting, delicious food. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Very nice property and house. The dining room and food were very nice, but the bar was a bit small. Rooms were spacious and clean. Its difficult to monitor the heat during the night, but again was very nice. Helpful, friendly staff. We would go back again.

Everything about the Adair is special — the grounds, the guest and common rooms, the warm and welcoming staff. One of the two best B&B’s we have ever stayed in (the other is in Italy). Our only regret is that they weren’t serving dinner on the few nights we were there because that too is an exceptional experience. One minor suggestion: please put a light on the path from your parking lot to the inn’s entrance. I know cell phones have flash light features but it’s really dark out there !

Very unique old hotel, in a converted but huge old house. You are allowed run of the property. Lots of bookshelves, nooks and crannies. Pretty and spacious parlor. Huge basement that doubles as a TV and game room. Delicious breakfast with amazing popovers. No dinner on Monday or Tuesday, which is when we were there. Nice and helpful staff. Lovely grounds.

The organization of everything, from the decorations to the service was, in a word, meticulous. The attention to all the little details made it feel like there was a Downton Abbey amount of staff attending our every need. We were very pleased to have stayed at a place with such a full expression of the property's history and individual character. We felt like weekend country guests in an Agatha Christie novel with no crimes. The innkeepers were also fully equal in their treatment of a gay couple, allowing for just as much romantic feeling as all the other couples staying in the place.
