Best hotel we have tried in Ginza
We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Gracery Ginza. I’ll get the minor negatives out of the way (there are no major negatives). 1. The one time we asked for just the trash to be taken out (or as they call it, Eco-cleaning) I think they forgot to do it. 2. You will have to make your own plans to get to and from the hotel and airport. They have no own service. But those are very minor compared to the wonderful stay overall we had. The room was larger than usual Japan hotel rooms (we got the 2 twin bed room). Clean, orderly, and nice amenities. Location is a few minutes walk from Ginza and Higashi-Ginza stations, and just another easy walk to Shimbashi and Yurakucho stations. It is also just 100m away from Courtyard by Marriott, where the Airport Limousine bus makes the last stop from and before going to Haneda. Lots of convenience stores and eateries around. Don’t miss Mugi to Olive Ginza Noodles! The hotel staff service was excellent. We made a mistake with a delivery that we had sent to the wrong hotel. HGG staff helped us out from beginning to end coordinating the new delivery to tracking to receiving the package. Definitely a place we will recommend for others and for future vacations.

Don't overthink it, stay in Ginza.
We wanted to start our Tokyo experience more like Tokyo, so we chose a hotel in Shinjuku for the first couple nights. We couldn't be happier we decided to book this hotel in Ginza for the rest of the Japan trip. Ginza is incredibly beautiful, safe, tons of restaurants and shops. The closest thing that comes to mind is 5th Ave in Manhattan, and I think me and my wife have a new favorite, though. The hotel is nice, small as most I guess, but comfortable anyway, super clean and everything works to perfection, service included. You can walk around Ginza as location is hard to beat, and not too far from a nice walk to the train/subway, which in our opinion is way less intimidating than it looks. If we ever are lucky enough to be able to go back to Japan, and Tokyo in particular, we know Ginza is our spot, and this hotel a pretty good alternative for it.

The hotel is in the heart of the Ginza area of Tokyo. Price was reasonable for the area. Our room was very small but functional and included a full bathroom and small refrigerator. Suitable for a couple.
