A classic 3-bedroom, oceanfront beach house with designer upgrades in quiet Arch Cape, just 10 mins. south of Cannon Beach. This charming, well-equipped home is dog-friendly*, family-friendly and boasts captivating ocean views, easy beach access, and a game room the whole group will love.

Ideal Location in Arch Cape
It's easy to see where Sona Tra (a Gaelic expression meaning “Happy Beach") got its name. Tucked in a calm, quiet community between two popular beach towns — Cannon Beach to the North and Manzanita to the South — Arch Cape is perfect for families looking to avoid the crowds but stay within close range of beach town attractions like cafes and restaurants, boutique shops, and art galleries.

This oceanfront home's low bank access makes Sona Tra a rare treat in every season – from storm watching and whale watching in the winter to tide-pooling and sunset waterfall picnics in the summer.

Inside Sona Tra
Inside, you'll find a blend of classic beach house style and French Provencal design, with natural beach hues and textures reflecting the rugged and elegant beauty of the Oregon coast. The spacious, open layout encourages relaxation and togetherness, with comfortable furnishings, modern amenities, and incredible ocean views from its many vantage points.

Primary Bedroom – Upper Level:
Rest easy in a plush king-size bed in this loft-style bedroom (no privacy door). French doors lead to a private glass-wrapped balcony with panoramic ocean views. An additional East-facing balcony overlooks the mountains. Enjoy the privacy of an en suite bath with a dual vanity and shower/tub combo (completely updated winter 2020 - new photos coming soon).

Guest Bedroom – Main Level:
This calming bedroom includes a comfortable queen-size bed, soft lighting and ample closet space. The second full bathroom is right across the hall and includes a walk-in shower (also renovated winter 2020 - new photos soon).

Guest Bedroom 2 – Main Level:
The kids will love this spacious bedroom tucked between the laundry room and the garage which doubles as a game room. The room sleeps four in two twin beds and a twin daybed with a trundle and includes a cable flat-screen TV, DVD player, and Nintendo Game Cube.

Living Spaces:
With picture windows framing the ocean and comfy furniture surrounding a wood-burning, stone fireplace and a cable flat-screen TV, the inviting, open living room will be the go-to spot for relaxation.

The kids and pets will love playing in the big backyard when not at the beach. And if the weather turns, there are plenty of board games and Ping-Pong in the garage to keep the group entertained.

Kitchen & Dining:
The impressive, fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, state-of-the-art appliances, and a gorgeous stone accent wall. With its open layout, the cooks can still chat with the group while prepping dinner.

Take in incredible ocean views from the open dining room with seating for eight. In the warmer months, fire up the gas grill in the backyard and enjoy alfresco meals at the picnic table while listening to the waves crash.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
