Bad service, bad deodorizer smell in the room coming from AC. Rooms and lobby need updating. Location was goid. Shower head was broke, called front desk at 11:30pm and no one to be found. The only thing good was the breakfast. Would not recommend since there are several options in Madrid at the same price level.

We love this hotel and its rich breakfast. Unfortunately, our room 714 could not shell off the noises at night; some late night partiers wok us up between 2am-4am...

great location for Art
good hotel in a good location. I have used it on a previous visit. its within walking distance of the three main art galleries and the grand park with botanical gardens and also Atocha station. Plenty of places to eat and drink - including the hotel. I had booked a good room with a terrace and it was comfortable. I wasn't offered any VIP rewards which was a surprise- but I guess I could have asked. The only downside to the visit was the room wasn't made up on one day - another day it had been made up but not replenished. Plus the housekeeper kept knocking quite early and we were there for wedding celebrations so out late and up late. In addition the washbasin plug didn't work. I would however stay again.

Great location and very comfortable bed.
Great location near major museums and Atocha train station, comfortable room, great beds and pillows, nice smelling soap, very clean. Only downside is considerable street noise, likely better on a higher floor. We stayed here 4 or 5 years ago and seems improved. Staff are very helpful.
