    Very nice place to stay

Pros: Great location. Personable and helpful owners. Excellent breakfast. Cons: Bathtub drain would not close. Movable shower head did not seem to work. Needs to have an ice machine so as not to bother employees to obtain ice from kitchen.

Our suite was lovely. We felt like we had a sitting room, a walk-in, open closet and a lovely bathroom. The period decor was just right and not overdone. The breakfasts are spectacular.

The building is very pretty and located right across the street from the river! The Inn also has great history. The food was excellent and our front desk person Eleanor was terrific!

    Charming historic inn

We had a wonderful night at the Robert Morris Inn. The inn has such a fascinating history, warm friendly staff, outstanding food, in such a charming little town. We would definitely recommend it.

Good restaurant on site. Huge miscommunication issues with reservation. We were put in a room much less appealing than the one that was confirmed through Expedia. They claimed it was Expedia's problem; that they had double booked the room. The Robert Morris has seen better days. Ceiling falling in the lounge area, wall paper peeling and plaster crumbling in our room, plumbing questionable. We left after one night; would not stay again nor would we recommend.

It was just what the doctor ordered and what I was hoping for when booking at the oldest inn in America! Charming, old. Wonderful meals at the Tavern including $20/person allowance for breakfast. Get the Eggs Benedict with crab!!!

This is a treat for history buffs. The inn is charming and historical. The staff do everything they can to make the stay easy—since the rooms have limited electrical outlets due to historic nature there are coffee and water stations on each floor. The food in the tavern is outstanding. It is quiet and peaceful, waterfront and ferry just outside the hotel. The few shops in town are good— well worth the trip
