This hotel is in an amazing location. It’s clean, rooms are large, and the neighborhood is safe. Check-in was an absolute nightmare! We stayed 3 nights and not a single person checking in during that time period was sent the building and room codes. Everyone who had rented a room was locked out to no avail. We came downstairs at one point to see that someone had bashed a mirror that was in the entry out of anger for not being able to check-in. This building desperately needs staff on site for check-in!!! Many of the people checking in were foreign and didn’t speak English and couldn’t get in touch with anyone. It was a very stressful and unpleasant experience for everyone at the hotel. The property manager saw we had young kids and went above and beyond to assist us with a and even gave us his cell phone number after he created a new code for us since we never received one from the managing company. He was great. We would stay again if they have onsite staff.

I had a really pleasant stay here. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with everything I needed. After long days walking around New York, it was a great place to come back to and actually relax. The location was perfect for my trip. It’s extremely close to the subway, which made getting around the city really easy, and it’s also within walking distance of food, shops, and anything else you might need. Being close to Gantry Plaza State Park was a huge bonus too — it made for a beautiful walk and a great view of Manhattan. Overall, this was a convenient, comfortable, and reliable place to stay. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially for easy subway access and a quieter home base outside the busiest parts of Manhattan.

Book with caution. The Good: The room itself was spacious, which was a nice perk, and having a full kitchen area was genuinely useful. The location is honestly unbeatable: Target right there, subway stops nearby. Cool shops nearby. That part was perfect. The Not-So-Good: The place isn't managed well. The room wasn't ready at check-in, I had to wait an hour for the room to be ready. The WiFi information in the room was out of date (resolved by contacting customer service), and the shower had a pretty major drainage issue: water just sat in the tub for like 30 minutes before it finally drained. Not great when you're trying to settle in after traveling. The WiFi was spotty throughout the stay. The staff was responsive, but only could solve the simple issue of providing the correct Wifi login and password. The Verdict: If you specifically need a large kitchen, maybe it's worth considering. But honestly? Other hotels in this area are similarly priced with way fewer headaches. I'll be booking elsewhere next time unless I really need that kitchen space. Location alone isn't enough to overcome the operational issues.

Very spacious rooms, close to subway, safe and quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the building once you figure it out - the hotel didn’t give me the check in instructions until after check in. I had to call a few times to get them to send info. The building still says Sonder on the outside, and the WiFi info in the rooms are the old Sonder details. Overall, I’d recommend as after I gained access it was a nice stay!

Would not recommend this to anyone with the current management. We had trouble with a booking error resulting in having 2 units reserved instead of 1 and the hotel and Expedia both blamed each other without any willingness to resolve the matter. Before arrival we had to pay an extra facility fee in order to receive the door code. This was not informed on forehand. When we arrived at the hotel some other guest where standing outside having the same issues regarding door code and they ended up having to leave because the hotel had overbooked and could not provide a room for them. The room was clean upon arrival, but there was no cleaning, change of towels and emptying of trash bins during our 6 day stay. The rooms were quite worn down and did not reflect the images in the ad. It is too bad that the services provided by the hotel were so lacking, since the potential for a good stay in a nice and central neighborhood are excellent.

I enjoyed my stay and will be booking again within a week! It was quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for groceries there is a Trader Joe’s near right across the street. But I would not recommend going to the deli that’s around the corner because they will schem your lightning, lightning lightning lightning

An incredible location and we were fortunate enough to have a view of the Manhattan skyline. Stayed with our 4 year old and the grandparents. Plenty of room for all in the 2 bedroom apartment. In unit laundry appreciated. And so close the Court Square station which made our trips to Manhattan and Brooklyn super easy. Trader Joe’s around the corner for groceries. Some city noise if that bothers you. Some other guests had trouble with their codes getting in. And we used the luggage lockers at check out for a couple of hours but our code had expired when we came back to get them. Other than that, a really wonderful stay.
