Barefoot Resort & Yacht Club

I received a code that didn’t work ,the emergency contact person was very unhelpful .I waited for 2 1/2 hours for a maintenance guy to show up to punch in a code . It was cold , had grand children in the car &was very tried . The room wasn’t very clean, a lot of damage furniture to use, trash was founded underneath table and beds. Lights wasn’t working in area. But was roomy, I know I left it cleaner than it was for me

I would not recommend Barefoot Resort! The room was not ready when we arrived at check-in time, and it was not fully clean when we finally got in. The toilet was dirty and the floors were not vacuumed. The mattress and pillows were both uncomfortable, and when our neighbors were so loud we couldn’t sleep, there was no one available to call. In general, it felt like we were staying at a cheap motel on the highway not a golf resort with amenities. Go somewhere else!

Room was not cleaned. Told front desk and they said cleaning service would come. They never showed. Had to move to a cottage. Will never stay here again!!

One of the first things we needed to do was to go to the store and buy a mop and floor cleaner. The floors has not been cleaned at all. Not a vacation when you have to clean before you stay.

It was on second floor and no elevator I wish the ad would’ve mention it was no elevator my husband had ankle surgery and the Master Bed mattress was very hard and lumpy

First room was not what we reserved, we reserved 3 bedrooms and received 2 bedrooms. Room was not clean and we could not get a manager to call us back. We finally waited outside the office until someone came to the door and got a different room. The room was better but the carpet was still dirty. We’ve stayed at this location many times and never experienced so many issues.

This was a absolute terrible stay! Avoid booking with Barefoot Resorts. They have rude, irresponsible, and unresponsive staff that makes the property look so ugly!

Stay was good although one of the bathrooms did not work the entire stay. Maintenance came said he fixed it and it still did not work. Other than that suite was very clean and comfortable

The front desk lady was very unprofessional and rude. They already had closed sign up and it was only 4:40, not even 5:00pm. She was short and unprofessional in her speech, did not look happy to help at all. They charged another $100 for resort fee, it's the middle of fall no resorts going on, not mention at check out you have to take your own trash out, what even is the fee for!! When I got to the initial room it had not been cleaned!! I called, she gave me another room, but would not wait for me to come get the key even though I was 5min away from the check in and it was now 4:58 and she closed at 5pm. So she put key in lock box starting naming off the code and didn't even ask if I had something to write it down with. The day of check out I dropped the key in the drop box. She had not checked that so she called me at 10:45am in the middle of a meeting to ask if I had checked out. I said yes, it is in the drop box (why would they not check the drop box before calling??!?) The whole area was not worth a bit of my money.

Very nice and cozy will stay there again
