Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Palm Grove

Nothing to rave about for the price that i paid. counter staff seem to be very reserved and no smiles but not rude ....they seem to lack the warmth of staff at many other hotels i have stayed in. I am most grateful for their kind consideration on checking me in early when i arrived......this is an A for them. the room was neat and tidy and i brought to attention of Duty manager a few of my concerns and he took note respectfully and rectified accordingly.Thanks for this the wi.fi worked .it was a comfortable stay .It was pleasant but i think i had greater expectations especially from this hotel chain .

Overall good stay and cannot complain much. Nice pool and great location. However a few things that I did not like- 1. Tea bag and coffee sachets were not replenished when used. 2. Leaky shower cubicle meant every time I showered I had to wipe the floor and it was enough to soak a whole large towel 3. Some of the people working on the 4th floor (housekeeping and maintenance) were always very loud shouting instructions at each other from down the corridors- very unprofessional I thought especially if one needs to sleep before or after a flight 4. Breakfast was poor!! Cold croissant/ salty eggs and dirty tables

Good friendly staff at reception made it possible for an early check in. Easy check out as well. Restaurants were good also.

When booking through hotels.com there was no mention that pool is under maintenance. Did not state it in any of the confirmations either. Arrived to find out that pool is closed. Ruined my whole holiday. Rooms are dirty including damp on bedcovers. Management is poor. Manager on duty was so rude and aggressive and was raising his voice. In the end we were told we could leave and get a refund. Awful
