A beautiful stay however, for guest staying at the hotel Spa treatments should be included in the price of the overnight stay. Furthermore, check out should be extended to mid afternoon (2-3pm) as check in was at 3pm. This will give guests such like me more than enough time if they are staying for only one night.

Thumbs Down since Delta Takeover
Very disappointing since the switch to Marriott Delta Hotels. Arrived at 10pm and given keys to unmade room.... 3 TIMES!!! Finally got to a clean room around 10.30pm. In the morning was told by receptionist that they could not print a VAT receipt as I have booked through expedia even though I had paid the hotel directly. This was false information as the Delta Hotels were paid directly, its irrelevant about who you booked through. Also my colleague who booked the same way was given a VAT receipt at reception. Very poor all round.

When is an upgrade not an upgrade?
The staff were lovely and helpful although bar staff seemed a little slow and disorganised. Breakfast was good although they kept running out of things causing big queues, only 1 coffee machine out of 3 was working and the orange juice was permenantly empty and no one handy to inform. The upgrade appeared to be to a room exactly matching the description of the room that I booked. This is not the first time I have had this at hotels where I have stayed. The next room up from mine was a suite, I paid extra for my room so that this would be the case. If you dont have availability to upgrade that is fine but this appeared to be something of a pretend upgrade. Please also provide more shower gel for the room. A single miniature is not enough for two people sharing a room.

Unfortunately we could not sleep well Saturday night due to the noise of other guests. Also we decided to stay an extra night, our room was cleaned at 4pm in the afternoon when we were trying to get ready for an evening meal. The cleaners asked us if they just wanted to leave the towels etc and not make the bed not what is expected. A disappointing experience we were in holiday from Australia.

Excellent Hotel
Just stayed for one night whilst meeting family in Nottingham . Hotel was very good , have seen some mixed reviews but I’m not sure what people moan about !! Hotel is situated about 6 miles from the town centre and takes a 10 minute taxi ride for £12 . Hotel was spotless , rooms were spacious and the service excellent . For the money we paid it was fantastic value for money .

Lovely hotel, needs better cleaning and updating.
So beautiful and christmasy! No signs of Belfry hotel so I thought I was in the wrong place! It is changing over to a Marriott hotel apprently! Lovely christmas decorations and tree! Very festive. Unfortunately the rooms are really dated, especially the bathroom. My bathroom had hair on the sink and you can tell its not been cleaned to its best. The bed looked like it had been made then sat on so not the best impression on walking in, definitely needs a thorough clean and updating. Wasn’t quite worth £60+ I paid. I had already intended to book again for Jan (paid now) but Im hoping my room will be cleaner!

Bed sheets smelled like a dogs foot.
Scarce toiletries. Made it quite an uncomfortable experience having to ask for a shower mat, slippers, shower hat, extra soap. £80 a night rate with half the stuff missing. Also, the bedding was washed with too much starch. Bedding smelled like flour/wheat/tortilla chips/dogs feet. When brought up to front desk, was told to just spray the bedding with perfume instead. Definitely not worth the rate.
