Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi

Centara Krabi is a beautiful resort. We really enjoyed our short stay there. The ride to get to the resort and the view are breath-taking. It definitely has a resort feel with lots of amenities. We did go in March 202 and the resort was busy but not packed which made it more enjoyable. The food selection was great and had many restaurants to pick from for lunch and dinner. The resort was not all inclusive, it did offer a buffet breakfast/lunch which would last us for most of the day and then we would go get dinner. One of the nights we went to Thai buffet and watched a beautiful show put on by the staff at the resort while we ate. It was about $40 per person and it included one alcoholic drink.

Property photo is misleading. What one does not see is that the Deluxe room faces roofs of other buildings. You do NOT see the ocean. You need to Upgrade to the most expensive rooms to get a view of the ocean. Then, you are into $350 US per night. Definitely NOT worth it. Staff are very slow at EVERYTHING.

We had the ocean view spa deluxe room, the jacuzzi was great and the views were even better. Overall the room was very nice and well designed. Problem was that you can tell the room (bathroom and jacuzzi) was repaired a few times and it started to look dated (dodgy patch jobs). The hotel staff were incredibly nice and went above and beyond their role to make sure that we are happy at the resort. My favourite part about the report is that it is secluded from everything else. Ao nang is very busy and centara is well hidden from that. Loved the restaurants, drinks and food. Great amenities and seems like everything was available when needed. Overall 8/10.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Terrible costumer service experience by hotel management. This is the type of place that only cares about squeezing every penny out of costumers. I truly regret booking this hotel, worst experience I had throughout South East Asia.

Great resort and amazing if you want to stay put, very difficult to get into aonang and hard to explore the area, rooms and property are beautiful but I found most staff very short and rude, boat access is unreliable and not frequent enough.

Firstly, there is no security box in the room. Even we’d like to go out side from our room, we cannot go because we are not sure how much time we need to wait long time. If we ask a reception staff, she say only “I already informed my staff”or “Hah??”,like this.. When we ask something for others to reception, this staff pick up our phone, because we have no choice. Every time, we got annoyed every time because of her attitude. It seems she never know “apologizes ” mind. Almost staff are kind. But. we will never use this hotel due to her.

This hotel was booked then realized it was the wrong town. Asked Expedia for a refund ASAP as I book all the time with Expedia and this was an honest mistak. The hotel Refused to allow the refund. No understanding as this could happen to anyone. I’m sure the stay is just as similar. Crooks in my opinion

Lovely hotel in Spectacular setting. We stayed twice over a 10 day period with a few nights in between at Phi Phi Islands. We had the delux rooms with spa which were both very nice, clean and comfortable although small things like taps needed fixing, shower heads descaling etc... general maintenance isnt kept up to which for a 5 star hotel it should be. The beach and pool areas are great and it never feels over crowded although as with everywhere there is a lot of sun lounger reserving going on even though there are signs up to say it isnt allowed however they dont enforce it. We spent most days by the pool and took advantage of the free kayaks whixh were great. Breakfast was superb - big choice, cooked well and next to a lovely pond with huge water monitor lizards. The negatives really is that come the evening there is just nothing to do. The restaurants are ridiculously expensive and dead because noone else eats there so it really lacks atmosphere when you walk into a place and you are the only ones eating. They advertise the odd pop quiz and fire show but again there is no buzz and noone stays as drinks are too expensive so everyone heads to the town where there is lots happening, many food and drink options and its much cheaper although walking the monkey trail up all those steps in the heat is a killer! During our time here we spoke to 2 other Brit couples and both had a similar opinion. We all agreed we had a great stay but it wasnt 5 star and evening's were boring.

It an excellent property to stay and relax . the hotel needs to work on service experience to the and the staff needs to be more friendly and kind . The food is ok but nothing exotic !!
