Large room, great location at a great price,
The location in NYC is great. The room was a large suite and was very clean and quiet. The living/sleeping area was dated, but the bathroom was large and nice. The king bed was comfortable. They don't provide a hair dryer or iron, unless you request it (they forgot to bring the hair dryer to our room after requesting). They don't provide facial tissues, but the rest of the bathroom ammenities were very good.

Good staff for family
Staff was friendly and informative. Room was clean and included a sink, microwave and fridge. Front desk helped with directions, and we were able to store our bags after check out for a few hours before our train for a small fee.

Delightful old hotel
This is a delightful hotel. I was given a suite with a small kitchen and sitting room so my work space was separate from the bedroom, and i could save money by cooking up small meals. Although close to Times Square, it is on a very quiet street with no all-night flashing signs and hubbub. I found the Blakeley cozy, comfortable and restful and I will definitely stay here again.
