Hotel & food good. Beware of taxis in Poland
The hotel stay was great and conveniently located. Breakfast was good and dinner was great. So were the 2 Espresso Martinis I had. Lovely service and super friendly staff. I would advise the hotel partner with reputable taxi companies. I asked the hotel to order me a taxi as I felt they would use a good company that I could trust. Hotel ordered me a taxi to take me to Ptak Warsaw Expo. The taxi driver charged me 190pln. I later found out the journey should have cost 12.92pln.

We have stayed at the Metropol hotel on various occasions as the location is very convenient for being in the heart of Central Warsaw. The standard rooms are modern, clean, quite spacious and well air conditioned. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is good and the seating area is very pleasant. If you are at the front of the hotel, the views are really good especially from the upper floors but noisy/vibrations, when the trams start rolling in at 4am or so.
