Incredibly Helpful Staff
A solid mid/high-end Marriott property. Subway to central Vienna is a 4 minute walk to a 10 minute ride. Hotel staff is simply awesome.

Pat & Dot visit Vienna!
Excellent and very convenient. Only wish the pillows were softer! Friendly staff. Transportation right across the street to inner city.

Close to transport
Not located in the middle of the city but is right next to a metro stop so it is easily reachable.

Very good 8,0
Lovely hotel. Staff in the restaurant were particularly helpful and pleasant to deal with. My only issue was the clear window between the bedroom and bathroom; seeing my partner use the bathroom and vice versa is not my idea of a good time.

Poor 2,0
No security processes in place
We experienced an unauthorized entry into our room @ 2AM on NY eve - I.e. someone used a key to enter the room and left quickly as I got up and shouted. I was traveling with my wife and young son, who were both sleeping at the time - one can imagine how we felt knowing that this could have happened - but unfortunately it gets worse! I reported the situation immediately to the front of house (in person) and no action was taken for over 24 (we reported the issue 3 times to different people - and none of them had Any knowledge of the incident or reported it (it’s as if it wasn’ important). Clearly no security processes in place (and lack of adequate training to the front of house staff) at this hotel, which is shocking for a Marriot - especially in the “age of terrorism”. Only after asking to see the Manager on duty and then the General Manager upon our check out were we informed that a hotel key had been stolen from the reception desk by an unknown perpetrator, that other guests had been affected, and that the police is involved. Sadly, we weren’t given any formal letter of apology and only when we complained (spent over an hour doing so) was I offered some sort of compensation. It felt as if they were making it up as they went along. Acceptable for a b&b, not for a 4* Marriot Hotel. The general manager has since then followed up personally over email, but the whole security reporting process (or lack thereof) was a really scary and unbelievable experience.
