You Can Do Better
This hotel has a great location near many good restaurants, a huge market, museums, and a very large and beautiful park. But now comes the hard truth: the beds and pillows are so hard they are not fit for those who prefer a soft mattress (line me); they only for much younger guests (in their 20s or 30s). The room is small and hot; the one window only opens a few inches so the nice fan provided does little but move around hot air. There is a foul odor coming from the bathroom that overwhelmed our spray air freshener. The meager breakfast buffet is held in a window-less room with no discernible air movement thus rending it very stuffy and a perfect breeding ground for virus transmission; we therefore ate in our room. The whole experience was certainly not worth the price.

A good hotel to sleep and freshen up
The hotel was nice for a place to sleep/change/wash one a city trip. The beds were comfy and the room was a good size. The shower wasn't great the temperature was inconsistent - either scolding or cold! But not the end of the world. No air con but we did find a fan in the wardrobe that was quite dusty until we turned it on and filled the room with dust... No toiletries in the bathroom which was fine as we brought our own but there was no soap...

Hotel is in a really good location for sight seeing, it’s away from the centre so quiet at night but close enough still to walk into the centre or hop onto a tram. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The room was clean and was made up every day. The shower tray was broken and had a hole in which meant that when you stepped into it stagnant water came out which made the shower really smelly. Other than that we could not fault the place.

Nice property. No air conditioning, which is good for the environment. Fan and an open window was enough to keep cool. Great location for Museum's, Vondelpark and Leidseplein, but most attractions in Amsterdam are just a slow, meandering, walk away.
