A good value, well located hotel by Hyde Park.
This has been a solo trip for a tennis beak in Hyde Park. Location has been my main priority. I love the proximity to Hyde Park. I changed rooms after night one as my bed was intolerably squeaky & my pillows hard & uncomfortable. My second room was much more comfortable & a quiet bed! Not sure what the difference was as room size & features were the same. I didn’t find a hairdryer, but maybe there was one at reception on demand. Restaurant service is a little slow, partly due to changes around coronavirus. Overall, this has been a good value for money stay in an area I am fond of, though it does not offer much in its nightlife or eating out. My walk from Paddington station was around 15 mins. Staff are courteous, although my daily greetings of Good Morning, generally fell on deaf ears. It would be nice to be noticed as a guest at times.

Great location in quiet and elegant street
Great location in a quiet and elegant street just set back from Kensington Gardens. Well appointed hotel with lovely restaurant and bar area. Breakfast choice and quality excellent. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location
Hotel was well positioned on the edge of Hyde Park with easy access to explore London. The hotel was well set up for supporting the COVID restrictions and provided personal protective packs on check in.

Great hotel
Friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. The breakfast was very nice but due to table service during Covid19 it was a bit slow. Staff very apologetic though. Hotel is in a great location and was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely go back again.

Special getaway
staff were very helpful & polite. Spacious room & bathroom. Great choice on offer at breakfast. Lift fully working to your required floor to your room(s). No disabled (wheelchair) access into the hotel itself or to the bar/restaurant as there are steps. Just highlighting this for those who are wheelchair users. Hotel itself is central to the west end & Paddington station is the nearest rail station to it. Though there is the underground to use from there to stop nearer the hotel itself. Cabbies were very kind & helpful to us too.

A Very Pleasant Stay in a Convenient Location
I stayed in a Single Bed room. It was small but good enough for one person. Pros: The buffet breakfast was plentiful. The service was prompt and attentive. I also dined at the restaurant, the food was very average. Cons: the shower tap was very very tight. I had to ring the reception to come and help me to turn it on. It took her sometime to work it out too. I'd suggest the hotel to look into all their shower taps (I experienced same in the Twin Bed room), otherwise, they will soon be damaged by some "very strong" guests. I gave up on having shower for one day.

Cold
The room was so cold the heating wasn’t working. Asked on 4 occasions and “we’ll have someone look at it” . They didn’t forced to use a small portable heater. That didn’t reach the bathroom. One day the cleaner left the window open as you can imagine the room was extremely cold when we returned late afternoon. Otherwise the restaurant and bar staff were very courteous and friendly .

Good hotel at Hyde Park
Splendid hotel, clean room with comfortable beds. Good location, close to Hyde Park. 3 tube stations only minutes away.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The reason we booked this hotel, other than the great price, was it's proximity to several different Tube Stations and it's close access to Hyde Park. Once you enter the lobby you will see its quite up to date with a beautiful reception area, a bar and a restaurant which offers a buffet breakfast in the morning. I cant remember if we had to pay extra for the buffet or not but it was quick and convenient and allowed us to get a little nibble before starting our day. The selection was fair and service was friendly. Now once you start going up the stairs things get weird! There are tons of different landings and finding our room initially was difficult and confusing so allow yourself some time to acquaint yourself and know that you might have to carry your luggage up a couple steps. The room itself was cozy but overall nothing special. Bathrooms are tiny and so are the tubs/shower which made it very difficult for us (we are 6'6" and 5'8"). Each room had a tea kettle and TV. WiFi was spotty in our room but better when we sat down for breakfast at the buffet. Overall we would definitely stay here again due to it's lovely and quiet location. We particularly enjoyed mornings in the park.
