Well maintained and comfortable
The property is right on the beach and well maintained. Rooms are clean, spacious and ours had a balcony (no real view, but nice anyways). Bed was large and comfy and room amenities were good. Easy walking to restaurants, bars and convenience store next door. Great Vietnamese warung across the road. I didn’t use the amenities nor restaurant so cannot comment there. Exceptional for the price ($70aud pn).

Family room is spacious and comfortable but my kid got bitten a lot by mosquitos as insect repellant in the room was not working at first until housekeeping changed it. Nice pool also but pity about the beach. Looked lovely at first but on close up was dirty and uninviting.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bintang resort, however, the infrastructure of the rooms is old. The ceiling of the room was liking / dripping water after rain. The room had a constant strong smell of humidity and mould which resulted in us having a respiratory infection. Too many mosquitos inside the room every day. I had to buy my own insect killer spray bottle and spray the chemical every morning and afternoon. On the other hand, the staff, food, and service were incredibly excellent.

A reasonable hotel/resort but not worth the high rating. The staff were very good and helpful. The beds were like sleeping on a concrete floor with the pillows being rock hard. The room air conditioner was inadequate and was very noisy. The buffet breakfast was prepared for Asian guests with limited and repetitive choices for us westerners The guys at the egg station were fantastic The coffee was the worst I had ever had in Bali. It is a pet hate of mine when people put towels on the pool loungers at 6.30 am but don’t actually use them until 11am. The drink prices at the pool were as to be expected 6k a stubbie plus the added sales tax and service charges. The grounds were kept in good condition with many workers each day.
