Grand Hotel Due Golfi
Stunning View
The view was amazing from our balcony. The food was excellent, and the staff were most accommodating. The boutique hotel has been updated but kept it's original charm and beauty.

stunning view
Family trip with 11 people. From 80 to 10 years of age. All loved the hotel. Staff friendly. View from pool is stunning. 20 mins outside Sorrento. Shuttle service good. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel away from the town
Lovely modern hotel with stunning views. Good shuttle service to Sorrento. Great food both breakfast and evening dinner. There was a gala night while we were there. The meal was excellent and a sax player completed the ambiance. Another evening there was a singer in the bar. The bedroom was quite big, bathroom modern, nice balcony. The pool area was too small for the number of people in the hotel and it was a struggle for space. The pool whilst very pretty was freezing. This is not a hotel suitable for children. No pool area, no room to play and quite a way from anywhere. The secure parking is on the busy junction opposite the hotel – it can be a little tricky to get in and out. On the whole a good economical hotel which we would recommend to couples with a car.

Great view but didn't like the location
Best point about this hotel? Its a draw between the reception staff and the great view from the room and pool area. Worth getting a sea/pool side room in my opinion. The hotel reception and public areas had an upmarket feel to them however the rooms are a little compact. Breakfast was good by Italian expectations with hot food each day in addition to the usual cheese/ham and cakes! I had thought that the hotel was in the village of Santa Agata however it sits just outside and, although it's only a ten minute walk, half of this is on an unpaved winding road which in my view is rather dangerous. Taxi to SA is 10 euros! I believe there is a bus stop right outside the hotel however the hotel provides a shuttle bus into Sorrento which was a great bonus. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the centre and is more pleasant than taking the local bus I imagine. It's just a pity that it didn't run more frequently and also take in Santa Agata on its route. The pool area and bar are nice with great views however I felt it was too compact and there is very little space around the pool; pool's a bit cold. You also need to stake your claim to a sun lounger by 8.30 or you may have little choice. We booked independantly however most guests appeared to be on a package. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked rather ordinary. All in all a very nice hotel and some people obviously love it but just not for me.
