There are much better options nearby
Overall very disappointing. The bedroom was dirty with cob webs in corners of the room, carpet that clearly looked to not have seen a hoover. The TV remote was missing its battery cover with sellotape used to keep the batteries in place. Bedding covered in hairs (I have a shaved head, so know they weren’t mine). I should have raised with reception but in all fairness I was so tired all I wanted to do was sleep and leave as soon as I could the morning after. In retrospect I should have refused the room and found somewhere else to stay, only book here if you really have no other option.

Enjoyable stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We didn’t have chance to use the leisure club but it looked nice. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean. The Burgundy restaurant was fab with a surprisingly good menu and really great friendly service. We also enjoyed lunch in the Burgundy bar and had a lovely relaxed experience with great food and great service. We will definitely book again if we’re in this area.

Stayed for gig at Resorts World Arena
Parked in hotel car park. Speedy check in and out, at hand with a map of walking route to the NEC (can also see on their website) if going that way. 20-25 minute walk, very easy route to follow. Varied option for food at breakfast, dinner and bar/ night menu's but slightly limited (we did not order anything so can't comment of taste). Room was clean and tidy, nice options for in room drinks, including hot chocolate and bottled water, plus biscuits : ) Bed comfy and warm, but pillows were lumpy, in the parts their was actually anything in the pillow, made it a struggle to sleep and woke with neck pain. Swimming pool nice for small lengths, decent steam/ sauna/ jacuzzi.Cubicled showers in changing rooms but no space to get dressed, unless at the one bench by lockers right where the main door opens to anyone coming in.
