Comfortable and quirky motel with nice staff
Loved this place - American style motel chalets, so you don't have to drag your luggage through the lobby and up elevators! Easy to find from the autoestrada. Staff cheerful and extremely helpful, with an evidently popular restaurant. OK, the paintwork and permanent upholstery in our chalet was getting a bit tired, the aircon/heater had a mind of its own, and the back of the lavatory bowl hadn't been properly attended to for quite some time, ahem. But it was rather homely, the beds were comfortably firm, and we slept like babes. Will definitely book again.

Great location for overnight stay
Have stayed here many times, as it's a great stop-over while travelling down through France, and just off the main road. It's clean and reasonably comfortable, if a little dated, but value for money. Evening dinner is normally pretty good. The one disappointment was that the previously excellent entree buffet has had a "change of menu" and all the best things have gone - prawns, anchovies, avocado dip - and just replaced with more rice/salads

C'est Bon, Alencon.
Adequate for a passing traveller.

Cheap but definitely not cheerful!!
Hotel is shabby and dishevelled and long overdue a complete refurbishment. Room was clean but very small and ill equipped, restaurant was Ok. If this is a typical Campanile we will not bother staying in one again.
