It was an amazing hotel, can’t wait for construction to be finished. Staff was great, but some didn’t speak English and weren’t willing to help. But the rest of the staff was great!

The food was not great and over priced , staff is also not so friendly, the place was full of people who were loud at late night hours (5am) experience was not the best.

The property is fine for young partiers that only need a decent place to lay their head at night or to invite friends and get drunk in a hotel room, but not for people on vacation to relax or sightsee. Upon arrival, the staff member that attended us had an attitude, which was ignored by myself and guest. We went to our "ocean view" room which was clean enough, but was not as advertised. The view of the ocean was going out to the balcony and using binoculars to see it. We had a meer glimpse above the roofs of surrounding buildings. When getting our mugs for morning coffee, there were chips in the glass and some substance stuck in those chips as well as trash left on the balcony from previous guest's breakfast remains. During our first night, around 2 am, there was an awful, loud ringing that sounded of a hurricane alarm you see in movies. When calling the desk it was a triggered alarm by one drunk group (of several) in the hotel. It sounded for over a half hour and I'm sure my hearing will never be the same. As we went down the next evening, we decided to take a swim. There were two pools and we chose the one with no kiddie slide. As we began to swim, we noticed there was several trash items rubbing against our legs and decided to change pools. When approaching the next pool, we inspected prior to entering, to which we noticed floating vomit. The next day was our last and the beach view (from at the actual beach) was breathtaking. We will not return to this hotel again.

There seems to be a lack of consistency within the hotel. We were a family of 4 which included a 9 year old and 4 year old. Per hotel guidelines both kids don’t pay. However when checking in they kept insisting that we did not book correctly even though we called 3 separate times to discuss reservation and questions prior to booking including if 2 family members could meet us on our last day for lunch as we would be leaving to airport together. We were told it would not be a problem. We also asked about opening a line of credit or voucher for hotel so that we can charge items to room instead of walking around with wallets. After all questions and issues were resolved, we asked if reservations were needed for any restaurants on site and were told no. kids wanted spaghetti so we went for dinner at the Italian restaurant and were turned away stating that reservations were needed and walk-ins were not accepted. Imagine how our 4 year old reacted and our 9 year old after a long day where all they wanted was their comfort food. The voucher worked perfectly fine except for no one ever knowing how much “credit” we still had. They kept telling us our original amount added but never our total thus far so we would have an idea. No receipts ever provided. On last day we were harassed for our 2 family members coming to spend what was 1 hour with us and forced to pay $90 prior to leaving for airport. This place is all about money including the bell hop who kept putting out his hand for $$$

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Emporio hotel 8 days 7 nights from the minute we arrived the staff was very welcoming courteous and professional. We were impressed by the look of the facility and the amenities family friendly the staff also helped us with our local site seeing services. Two clean restaurants and an outside bar 🍸 make you feel relaxed. Igive the hotel five ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars. Looking forward to visit the hotel again.
