Great antique hotel, beautiful cottages, gated parking (30.00) per day , worth it, and the staff were awesome 👌!

2/10 Poor

Horrible room !
Room not in the hotel but from the other side of the street, very close, without window, without internet. Dirty, hair, hairs and cockroaches Door of the toilets doesn’t close, walls so thin that we can hear EVERYTHING from the neighbors I didn’t pay for that I ask to be fully reimbursed !

Horrible
Location is good, but they advertise housekeeping everyday and is not true I stay 3 nights and they never clean the room, even when I call to ask to do it, I had to call and ask for clean towels every day, the first day my wife notice a stain on the wall that looks like blood bot who knows what it was so if you go to New Orleans do not stay in this hotel is very dirty, disgusting

Birthday stay
The hotel is quaint and kitschy. Nice pool hot tub and garden. Room was historically beautiful but the area was noisy. Would have welcomed some ghosts instead of noisy guests and street people.

8/10 Very good

It was steps away from Frenchman Street but we never heard any noise! I really don't understand but appreciated. It's across the street from the FQ. Awesome! Staff was friendly and helpful We got put in the building behind and across the street from the mansion. It was pretty small and windowless (402 - don't do it). If you have heavy bags, leave them downstairs as the check-in is upstairs and there's strong chance you'll have to carry them all the way some wavy and unsteady steps, only to carry them back down again when they give you a room if it's on the first floor.

This property is a gem! We did so much research trying to find something safe and affordable for this trip. We had payment issues upon booking and after calling they hotel they were so helpful. Warning there is stairs to reception which does not have a lift. Leave your bags downstairs until you know where you are going because the stairs are narrow but don’t let that turn you off staying here. The court hard is an oasis in New Orleans too!
