    Not what I expected

The cabin was very spacious, but not as clean as I expected especially for the cost. The bed and tops of surfaces appeared to be clean, but corners and such had cobwebs and dead insects. There was also a sign stating that the rooms could have bats or mice and if so, let them know. This freaked me out a bit so I called and they said it was protocol for all rooms in the parks. I'm not sure that is accurate, but would check in the future. We didn't see any, but I can say I didn't sleep well knowing it was possible for them to be in our room. Also, the bed was terrible. It squeaked loudly every time my husband or I even moved slightly. It reminded me of beds when I was a child. The noisy bed made for a sleepless night for my husband. It was nice to be in the park, but I don't think we would recommend it for someone else.

The Marina is Empty and Closed

We booked this place to stay on the water and do water activities. When we arrived, the very nice man told me the Bay was empty and took the map of the grounds and crossed off everything that was closed, leaving just the restaurant and grocery store available. I feel cheated because we did not get what we were sold and feel that we should have been notified of all the changes. I love the history of the cabins and that they have been preserved but they are overpriced and in need of updates. Our bathroom smelled like mold and mushrooms and the outer base of the shower was grimy with mold on the floor and baseboard of the walls. There's no tv,fridge, microwave, or coffee maker. Due to lack of water in the lake and lack of available activities, this was a waste of time and money for us, we would have stayed elsewhere.

    Beautiful new hotel rooms!

This is a beautiful place to stay! It was a wonderful experience. We saw 2 huge elk just down the road in the morning. Only negative - not many meal options. I believe that was partly due to covid. We were there Sept. 1-2, 2021.

    On a motorcycle ride.

It was a very quaint 100year old cabin with no tv, microwave, coffeemaker. That was ok because of the quiet atmosphere it was enjoyable. Madeline at the desk when we checked in was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful for our checking and later when we had questions. The food in the restaurant was a little overpriced but was good.

Our stay was perfect and very convenient to the park. However directions could have been better. Very hard to find late at night when it is pitch black!

I really liked the outdoor feeling but I feel like they should have had a fan to cool the room outside of the ceiling. If you are interested in using WiFi then you will have to find the Hot Spots.

These cabins are very rustic, yet comfortable. I particularly enjoyed their 100 year history they was posted inside each cabin. Their location is perfect for visiting the National Parks, as they are located inside Grant Teton and a short drive from Yellowstone. We realized it was quite the hidden gem after driving through the hustle and bustle of the crowds in Jackson. My only complaint is that they feel more like camping than staying in a 4 star hotel. Would be a good idea to bring camp chairs, bikes, cooler, etc. But If that’s your thing, then this is a great option in the area.
