The Inn at Virginia Mason
A hidden gem if you’re not a hotel snob.
Nice quiet atmosphere in a smaller hotel environment. Friendly staff, slightly dated rooms but exactly what I needed for a 3 night stay with a great view of downtown Seattle without the traffic noise!! I would definitely be returning here when the next time arrives!

If you prefer convenience over quality.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable. My husband ended up sleeping in the floor. Staff was friendly but room was not worth what we paid.

Worth considering!
This hotel is very quiet! But there are some steam pipes that do make some noise in some rooms. Higher floors seem to have less pipe noise. Most rooms have only twin beds. Restaurant is very inexpensive and quite good.

If you need to go to the hospital
Stayed for medical reasons so it was not a trip for enjoyment but it was in a good location and was very convenient.

Old property, thin walls
Older property with exposed pipes and very thin walls - could hear my neighbor's tv late into the night and then snoring, plus the H-vac system from the medical clinic next door humming 24/7. Bed soft and a bit lumpy. The bathroom and closet are one open room. This would be convenient for someone in a wheelchair or with a walker, since it is a wide open space.
