Float Away is about as unique as they come. While it might look like a boat, it’s actually not, it’s a floating home (with no motor). Housed in a beautiful part of Berlin, it’s perfect for guests looking to experience an alternative side of the city – or to escape the hustle and bustle of places like Mitte and Kreuzberg. Needless to say, it’s on the smaller side, but we only think that adds to its charm, especially when falling asleep here also involves waking up to the most gorgeous and calming views of the Spree.
*We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited
*Location-wise, it’s not the best – Mitte is about a thirty to forty minute journey by way of public transport
*The kitchen is on the smaller side – it’s not the kind of place you’d cook up a storm
*This is a floating house (not a boat), so you won’t be able to sail anywhere
