Probably best hotel choice in Erfurt today.
The hotel is a good quality business hotel, staff is friendly and competent. Rooms are quite big, and again standard business hotel lay-out. At this time most facilities in the hotel are unfortunately closed down due to corona. So no fitness, no sauna and no restaurant, which is a shame as especially the sauna (which I have used during previous stays) is very good. Erfurt center (Anger area) is currently under intensive reconstruction (it is messy), so I much prefer the location of Dorint Hotel, close to the Dom, where there currently only are limited road works.

Not really 5 stars but does have parking.
Other than being large enough to host conference groups I am not sure why this is a 5 star hotel. The AC barely functioned and there was no coffee tea service in the room. The king size bed was nice and there was a small fridge.

Overall good, but too warm.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good, as was most of the food I've had from there. The gym was okay, enough to get somewhat of a workout in. The rooms were very warm and the air conditioning was either disabled or non-existent. There are rooms on the outside wall, but I stayed on the inside wall and the windows just open into the lobby area, so there was no way to cool down the room. This was the most disappointing/uncomfortable part of my stay. They could also use a coffee machine in the rooms.
