Gem in the Centre of Town!
The Staff at Grand Daddy Hotel are so welcoming, friendly and helpful! The little hotel is a beautiful gem in the centre of town and close to some great eat-out places, Artscape, and so on. The rooftop is something else and the attention to detail is special. The breakfast was truly amazing!

Loved our stay at Grand Daddy hotel. It’s small and very unique. The restaurant downstairs was great. The free breakfast was amazing. Loved the rooftop bar and being surrounded by airstreams up there. Very unique place. All the staff were so friendly.

There are many "International" hotels in Cape Town which are of a good standard but maybe a bit bland. Grand Daddy is not one of these. It is clean and has the usual things you expect in a 4 Star Hotel but where it excels is in the personality and friendliness of its Staff, the old fashioned atmosphere and general vibe of the hotel. So, if you want something different from the norm, give them a try. Special mention for the good breakfast and coffee.
