beautiful hotel but service should be better
The hotel is well located just 10 min away form the Old town. It is brand new and very clean, very nice modern decor. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. There are no phones in the room to call reception, and I did not enjoy the communication system with an app through your phone: you send a message through the app but nobody responds. In one case they showed up at my door 10 min later and my request was accommodated (but since nobody had responded on the app I had no idea someone was coming), in another case since I had no idea if someone was going to respond or come, I had to go downstairs at reception myself. I don’t think this kind of communication and service is worth of a 5 star hotel and definitely needs improvement. Also would have appreciated to have the courtesy water bottle replaced/refilled after the first night like it happens in hotel in the same category and more selection of tea/snacks (even for purchase) in the room. Room service: food was good but overpriced

Disappointing Stay at The Julius Hotel
Stay at The Julius Hotel in Prague was disappointing. They didn't meet our family requests and failed to deliver crucial customer experiences. Check-in was unfriendly and confusing, taking 20 minutes. Deluxe Studio Room was much smaller (25 sqm) than described, with no view. Breakfast hospitality was lacking, and we were unexpectedly charged extra. Housekeeping didn't meet the standard for changing bed sheets. Overall, our high expectations were not met. Improvement needed for customer satisfaction.
