So close to perfect yet so far away
Overall the hotel is fantastic except for the air conditioning and bathroom. We had to turn the AC completely off because it was so loud and uncomfortable to hear. Also, this is another hotel with a sliding door on the bathroom that does not provide privacy. I loved the gym with a view of downtown!

Felt unwelcome
It was eventually fine but front desk clerk was a big negative and possibly reason to not stay here again because of the way he treated me. I was the only person at the desk to check in. He generally ignored me and would hardly look at me or acknowledge me. I left to use the restroom and look around the lobby. Returned to the front desk to find i again find no line. He seemed to begrudgingly help me and checked me in with little interaction. I did not feel welcomed at all. I really hate to bring up this last point but I’ve searched my thoughts and replayed the encounter. I can only conclude that he was having a real bad day, he was a snooty snub and enjoyed looking down on people, or he prejudged me because my skin color and type of dress was different than his and was treating me as less of a person. Later than evening I had a question and I felt uncomfortable calling the front desk fearing the way I would be treated. I called anyway hoping he would treat me better or someone else would answer. He answered told me he could not help me and that he would call me back in 5 minutes. You guessed, I heard nothing back. No return call in 3 hours. The next morning, I called the front desk again. A cheerful professional lady gladly helped me.

Great hotel!
Such a quiet hotel. Nice accommodations surrounding the hotel as far as places to eat and shops. Only negative was the shower was hard to navigate :/ otherwise, great place!
