About this home
Amazing new home in historic Old Folsom w/ tons of natural light, ceiling fans in every room, vaulted ceilings, 80" TV and a huge TV projection room w/surround sound, office, and 4 bedrooms. Historic Old Folsom is within walking distance that features an old western charm and offers live theater, Gold Rush history, restaurants, bars, dance clubs, unique shopping, ice cream, and chocolate shop. Walking distance to the American River, with walking and bike trails.
The back guest house above the garage is also an Airbnb. Open floor plan, upgraded fixtures, hardwood look flooring, huge granite kitchen island with bar stools, dining table that seats 6, comfortable couch in the living room and upstairs family room, full bath upstairs with 2 bedrooms, an office, and projection TV with surround sound, huge master bath with shower, tub and private balcony, front and rear porch with swinging seat on the rear porch.
There is a guest house on the property behind the main house above the garage house that sometimes has other guests stay in it. It is not
Park anywhere in the driveway but keep a path for the guest house in the back. Please leave the parking in front of the house for the guests in the back. You will also need to put put the trash cans out on Sunday evening, so keep a lane in the driveway to do so.
We live in Sacramento about 25 minutes away and are available via text or phone. We can come by in emergencies.
With the discovery of gold and the arrival of the 49'ers, Folsom, on the banks of the American River, became a very active area in the early 1850s. It remains a lively active place today. Enjoy Folsom’s history by visiting the Folsom History Museum, Pioneer Village, The Folsom Railroad Museum, and the Historic Railroad Turntable. The site of California’s first hydro-electric powerhouse is located nearby.
Historic Folsom is a destination offering a wide variety of things to do. Visit art galleries and check out live theater. Listen to live music and dance the night away at one of our nightclubs. It's also the place to go for a unique shopping experience. Old Folsom has antique stores, restaurants, clothing and home boutiques, and specialty stores.
Close to the American river, if you would like to go for a nice walk, bike ride or swim. About 5 minutes drive from Negro Bar and Folsom Lake Recreation area, offering water sports and swimming spots.
Easily walk into Old Folsom. Sacramento Light Rail is a couple blocks away. Folsom Factory Outlets is less than a 10 minute drive. Lake Natoma is also about a 10 minute drive where you can rent rafts, kayaks and more on the water.
There is a guest house on the property. If it is not booked, you can book them together and have the entire property to yourselves; 6 bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths. Along with full access to the 3 car garage. WiFi: Silence of the LAN; Password: zanyspider487
Back sliding door has a remote for the blinds for privacy. Do not touch the blinds. Use the remote only or you will break the blinds.
Parking: Park behind the home or in the double garage. The small garage is for the back guests, so do not block that garage door or the driveway.
Checkout: Please wipe down counters, start dishes in the dishwasher, take out the trash, strip the pillow cases and sheets (not the mattress covers) and start a load of towels in the washing machine. This helps us keep the cleaning costs down and get the
home ready on time for the next guests to check in at 4:00 pm.
BBQ is for guest use. Please turn the valve from the house to the "on" position before cooking and turn it off when done. When you are done, clean the BBQ with the utensils and put the cover back on it once it cools. No briquets in the BBQ, this is a gas only BBQ.

PROJECTOR OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: Turn on projector (white remote) - turn on stereo/video receiver (power button or black universal remote). Ensure the correct device is selected for input on the receiver (left large dial): CBL/SAT is Roku & Media Player is the available HDMI Cable. When powering down the system be sure and turn off the projector before the sound media receiver.
