The worst in the world
The worst hotel in the whole World! Smells dead people, i was int he room The cleaner open violent the door! I was scary as hell! The air does not wotk! The bathroom is a disgusting bathtub! The whole hotel is old, dirty! How can they charge 400 uss for that? Is not even 2 stars! I think this website is fooling us! The people who works ther eare ignorant, rude, not smart at all! The area is terrible full of bad restaurants! Also dangerous zone! I wish i got my money back! Never more!

A very nice and welcoming NYC hotel
Incredible, friendly, welcoming team at the Shelburne. Really sweet and conscientious people, and even got great feedback from my mother who is difficult to impress. Sound level was acceptable on our floor, but a bit of noise from traffic outside and people in the hallway, but compared to other hotels in NYC and the price of the rooms it was a huge win. Only thing missing is a bar/restaurant in the property but just walk outside and all of NYC is at your feet. Enjoyed the stay greatly.
