Not worth the cost.. wait until construction done

The hotel is under construction which we knew but didn't realize how much it affected the stay. Their restaurant was closed for construction so no room service of any kind. The room itself was spacious but dirty. Sand on the floor, dead bugs squashed on the floor and ceiling, and needed to wipe down the bathtub before use. The service was also not great. The people at the front desk were not very nice and didn't give us any good useful info. There was no welcome packet or info so we had no idea what was closed or open or what was close by or any events happening. There was a lot of private property around that area so you couldn't go to a lot of areas. Also the boardwalk area with little beach, you had to pay to sit on the beach, which we did not do. Overall the service wasn't great but we made due on our own. Just not what we were expecting for paying this amount at a resort. There should have at least been ample information and the service people should have been more considerate. Will definitely not be staying here again.
