So good we stayed there twice in a week!
We flew in and out of Gothenburg at either end of a week spent mostly in Oslo. We arrived late on Monday night and got the train to Oslo next morning so I booked the hotel as it is literally on top of the train station. The room was really comfortable and breakfast was excellent. We hadn’t booked anywhere for the end of the week but I quickly realised it would be hard to beat First Hotel G. We checked that they had a luggage room as we had a full day in Gothenburg before leaving and promptly rebooked. Our second stay was great too - we got off the train, checked in and went out to explore and have dinner. Gothenburg is a lovely city and the hotel is in a really central location. I would highly recommend it.

The room I was in was dated, and you can tell. Scuffs on the floors, walls and furniture. But there was incredible service, free breakfast, luggage storage and you can’t beat the location.

Comfortable hotel, super convenient
Stopped one night on the way home after a late flight: super convenient for the airport bus, comfortable rooms, great views from around the building (and particularly good for train geeks). Breakfast had a great selection.

Comfortable but not too-class
Nice hotel in a very convenient location. A few things missing for a hotel of his price/class eg fridge and my personal pet hate, shared soap dispensers (which never work) in the shower. But generally very friendly and comfortable, just a bit tired fittings here and there.
