2 nights in Napflion
First time in Napflion for a 3-day jaunt with my daughter. we received a complimentary upgrade to a Junior suite, which was nicely sized and comfortable. Our room included a mini fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, and bottles of water. We had a large veranda with nice privacy walls. My daughter used it for a few business video calls that she had to sneak in. The wifi was more than adequate. The staff were so warm and welcoming. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The location was amazing, right in the heart of the old center with views of the port and at the base of the the hike to Palamidi castle.

I stopped here for one night and wish I had the time to stay longer. Perfect room with all amenities, design, comfort, etc. I was in a bit of a pinch to get to my next destination and lacked transportation. The hotel (actually awesome front desk employee whose name I failed to ask/remember) connected me with a reliable driver who drove a nice Mercedes and was pretty cool to ride with for two hours. However, I won’t forget her professional and helpful disposition. The location is optimal as well at the waterfront and downtown. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great hotel in the center of old-town Nafplio
I would definitely recommend Espero Royal Stay. I visited recently in Sept. 2022. It's a great, small hotel right over a very nice restaurant that is part of the property. The staff is extremely helpful at all times, fluent in English, and very welcoming. The room is very modern, the view was great, and the bed very comfortable (which is often not the case in Greek hotels; Greek hotel beds have a reputation of being very hard). The location is perfect, very close to the water and in the center of old-town Nafplio, surrounded by the local sights. The old town area is small, so everything in the old town is either next to the hotel or very close. The breakfast was included, and it was great as well, offering a lot of different options. And having tried out the restaurants in the area, I can say that the one associated with the hotel is one of the best in Nafplio, and they gave us a 10% discount because we were staying at the hotel. My wife and I stayed four nights here; we'd certainly go again or recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Nafplio; the prices are very reasonable as well. Nafplio is a lovely little town to visit, and you can use it as a base to visit nearby important sites like Mycenae and Epidavros, and don't miss nearby Palamidi Fortress.

Amazing, affordable and perfect location !!!!
Amazing ! The staff could not have been more accommodating. The room and restaurant was incredibly charming and reasonably priced. I am a frequent traveler and will definitely stay at Espero again and I highly recommend it to anyone else. Walking distance to everything and free parking a 3 min walk away.
