Economical option near Joshua Tree NP.
This no-frills motel served our purpose. It was good to stay near Joshua Tree NP.

Poor
Worst hotel I’ve ever been in.
The proprietors of this hotel were the rudest people I have ever encountered at a hotel. The wifi was at 4mb a sec, the toilet want secured to the ground. There was blood on the pillow case. It was so bad that my wife and I left 30 mins after checking in. Knowing we were forfeiting money and went to the best western down the street. The deserve a 0 out of 10.

Poor
Noisy and small
This location is very noisy. The hotel put us next to a guest that had his TV blaring all night and can be heard down the hallway. Based upon how the staff interacted with this loud guest, it seems they are aware of his noise situation. Yet they still put guests next to him. The walls are thin and rooms are small. So, we can hear all the noise from the neighboring rooms and hallway. It’s a pretty basic hotel and nothing more.

Comfortable place to stay
The room was big and very comfortable, and the staff was polite and helpful. Only downside to our stay was that some people in another room were being very loud one of the nights, and the sound carried right into our room. We couldn't sleep at all. So just be aware that the walls are thin.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
This was the worst hotel experience of my life. We paid almost $200 for a "Spa" room and nothing was right. The "spa" which was a big bathtub with rusted "jets" was dirty and had hair and soap scum. It took 45 minutes to fill up and was leaking when not in use. There were cockroaches on the floor. The back door did not lock. There was abandoned furniture in the room that the owner said was there for "storage". There were screws and nails coming out of the wall EVERYWHERE. Dust on top of all surfaces. Best part yet: the OWNERS BLAMED US FOR IT ALL. This was my SECOND time here as I liked my first experience. I would NEVER go back here and advise anyone to NOT BOOK HERE. Owner promised me a refund but NOTHING yet, just another $200 charge from them...so $400 in charges, no refunds yet.

Good
Owners are working hard to renovate the property. Our room was large. Furnishings are tired. Pool area needed cleaning and maintenance. Property has the potential to be very nice. Very few options in Joshua Tree. Probably the best value for the price

Very good
This is a great place to crash for the night. No frills, no service, no real amenities, but for $80 we got two double beds that were clean and a shower that was hot. Is this place decorated nicely? No. Is it somewhere I’d hang out? Absolutely not. But it was the cheapest place in Yucca to sleep for 8 hour and for that I can’t knock it.

Poor
I honestly never leave reviews but this hotel was so horrible I needed to warn others. We arrive and there was sketchy people wandering around the parking lot. The hotel says internet free breakfast but not the case. The rooms are out dated and filthy. 2 of the 3 rooms smelled so bad we had to leave the door open. Contractors at 10pm using a circular saw 2 rooms down from us. I am by no means a hotel snob but this place is a hell hole.
