Relaxing, safe, enjoyable
Always wonderful for a weekend getaway. The staff is very helpful and respectful, just be respectful back. Hotel provides daily activities and non mororized water sports. If you plan to eat and drink only at the resort all inclusive is the way to go, unless you are a large family. There is a Walmart and Costco near by if you prefer to cook your own meals, most rooms have full size fridge and cooking abilities. We felt very safe during this world wide pandemic, everyone would wear a mask and extra cleaning of high use areas. There are still beach venders as always, their prices are always negotiable just be kind and understand that is the only source of income they have.

The staff at the breakfast bar were borderline unfriendly. Also people barely spoke english. if they want Americans to buy into their property, they should have staff that can understand english.

They ticked you into a presentation by offering you free breakfast. Not once was it said that it was for a timeshare. This took half a day of our time. We were there for a few days and we could have spent our time sight seeing and enjoying our vacation. We were very disappointed that 1/2 day of our trip was ruined.

This was an extremely disappointing place to stay. From the beginning of our stay to the end, we were constantly harassed by the staff to get us to purchase something whether it was their VIP card to a vacation package which they wasted 2 or more hours of our time. We felt like prisoners in the resort, the staff chased us down while we were just trying to explore on foot to stop us from leaving the resort. This is by far one of the most disappointing resort experiences. I HIGHLY recommend visitors to not stay at this resort! This resort does not allow you to enjoy a vacation. All eyes are on you as if you were a prisoner in their jail, you cannot go as you please.

We love Villa del Palmar. We’ve used the day pass a couple times when we’ve cruised and enjoyed our time here. We flew to Cabo in October 2020 and decided to stay a night here to fully enjoy ourselves and we sure did. Our room was amazing with beautiful pool/ ocean view. Food was delicious. We love the tacos! Pizza is really good too. Our dinner was amazing. Room was spotless and beds very comfortable! Loved our balcony too. Staff is all amazing! Everyone so very nice and helpful. Highly recommend Villa del Palmar
