Great Location but let down by overall condition
The rooms were dirty and with the COVID19 Pandemic the rooms were not being cleaned properly

Exceptional 10,0
Great location good room but wife a little upset there was some form of human hair on the bedsheets which was a bit disappointing. This wasn't found until we were going to bed so didn't report at the time as it would of delayed us getting sleep.

Cheap and cheerless......
Cheap and cheerless hotel in the city centre. The room was tired, no heating and no hot water in the bathroom hand basin. The whole place feels a bit unloved. Lots of noise from other rooms and the water pipes were hugely noisy in the morning. Staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Good 6,0
Just ok
Original room grotty- lights not working, cracked basin, smelled of smoke. Room changed immediately when asked and a free drink offered. Breakfast ok. Gluten free options good but bread was mouldy( I did point this out). 3 Bin liners left outside bedroom door all-night which smelled. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Hotel rooms need sprucing up, mattress not comfy.

Poor 2,0
would never stay here again
The room was freezing, had to sleep with two duvets on. When we rang reception to ask for a space heater that told us we just needed to turn the radiator up and hung up on us. With the windows being single-glazed there was a continuous draft and also noise from the wind blowing through the gaps.
