Disappointed by staff/service/cleanliness
The service I received from the staff here specifically Antoinette from Venezuela was horrible. I asked before I left my room for the day that my room be swept and fresh towels be taken and dirty towels taken. I was advised that everything would be taken care of upon my return. On return that evening towels were dropped off but nothing else. When I went to the front desk to speak with Antoinette about this she humiliated me with a non-helpful attitude. She states that there is no housekeeper in the building after 5pm which is honestly ridiculous and I later found out was not true. It wasn’t until Winslow the other front desk person offered to help sweep the floors and replace our towels/linens. The issue with the floor is that there was sand everywhere and my roommates and I could have slipped and fallen at any given time. Antoinette did not care. So I am making a formal complaint against her for lack of hospitality when it would have been most appreciated. My family has been coming here for almost 10 years. Will not return.

very run down
The photos are way more appealing than reality. I am sure this hotel was great maybe 20 years ago, but requires repairs and some up keep. The room is clean, but the bathrooms need love and repair. We had a couple of rooms and they all suffered the same fate. The resort fee is a joke and just another way to extort more money. Breakfast is basically toast, scrambled eggs and coffee. Save the money and go down the street. Contacting the hotel via phone is a joke, their phone menu redirects you to call the number you just called. Overall, won't be back given the sheer amount of choice available. Clearly they have cut a deal with the cruise liners for those needing a one or two nights before their cruise.

Looks can be deceiving.
Lobby looked fantastic and was setting up for a great stay. Check in was fast and easy. Things turned for the worse when I arrived to the room. Thermostat was broken causing room to feel like an icebox. With 3 attempts from the front desk to fix it , the 2nd to last day they advised me if it’s not fixed they would switch rooms. Great! All this time with my family members freezing they offer that help. Changing of the rooms Never happened. I would never stay here again due to customer service and room conditions
