Not as good as reviews
After reading reviews I thought it would be a nice place. Unfortunately we were not comfortable staying there, thankfully it was only one night and we arrived later in the evening. First off we were given a room on the ground floor which looked out into the busy street so it felt like a motel experience but worse. There are many floors and they were not full so you would think they would put people higher for a better experience. Secondly and more important was a huge stain on the couch taking up almost one whole cushion and there was a half eaten chocolate bar left in the fridge. This made us question the cleanliness especially during these times. It was too late to change rooms because we had a long drive to get there. the bed looked clean so we just went to bed to watch tv and discovered the tv remote for the bed tv didn’t work to turn on the tv, the batteries were so old they were crusty so I had to change the batteries with the living room remote. The bed was very comfortable as people have said. The breakfast reviews said it was great, which was why I booked this place, it was a complete let down, the warm sandwiches were terrible and neither my husband nor could eat them and just picked the meat out of it. The room itself looked clean and was large, but attention to detail was not there.

Perfect Location and Great Staff
Second visit, location is fantastic. Service, room, staff all excellent. One concern....the hotel is close to an Embassy. There were guests, that were without masks trying to get breakfast. The Staff member was quick to tell them, they must be masked. The guests did not speak English and kept advancing into the space. I intervened and gestured that they needed masks and must go to the lobby to get one. Signage in the lobby did say that they would provide masks. The hotel was set up very well. Obviously they were visiting from out of country. I can't help but wonder, were they isolating there ? If so, other guests should be informed. Everyone should be aware of the rules of isolation, in order to make other guests and staff comfortable. Signage should be in the language of that nearby Embassy with instructions on how the masks should be worn, because when they returned their masks were not being worn in accordance with Public Health Guidelines.
