This was the worst hotel I have ever booked. EVER. I booked this hotel for my boyfriend’s birthday. After waiting an hour at 2am, as I had taken him out for dinner and a night in the city, I wait an entire hour to check-in. Upon arriving I realized I didn’t have my ID and may have lost it at the restaurant I was at prior. Fortunately I keep a photo of my ID in my camera roll, so I tell the woman checking me in so and she goes to confirm with her manager that a photo is sufficient. After speaking with him, she comes back out and tells me that a photo is not enough even if I have other documentation on me and the original form of payment; so that I need to pay $200 cash for my stay. I then ask to speak with the manager and try to explain to him that I do not have that money and just paid $160 to book online, he continued to push for $200 until my boyfriend got upset. He then cancelled the room and told my brother and I that we cannot rebook another room. Now I have yet to receive an email in regards to cancellation or a refund. I then spoke with another manager who was delighted to help us but could not do anything about the matter. Unfortunately for him, I did not catch his name but he was a wonderful help.

    Premium Hotel is it NOT!

Booked a room with a view of Times Square, however my view was of trash and generators between buildings. The room was loud due to the air condition unit which sounded like a jet. Made it hard to sleep. The bathroom felt dirty and the floor could have been mopped a bit more. Upon check out, I called the front desk to see what time check out was and the gal told me 11am. I said I thought it was at 12 and she replied let’s make it 11:30am so your not charged and hung up. I still had other questions to ask. Then when I went downstairs to formally check out, she was telling other guest what is advertised online is not what you get. And saying this is the reason why she doesn’t work on her day off, totally unprofessional. I won’t be returning to this hotel even though it is literally 2 blocks if that from the the heart of Time Square!

    Nice, roomy, convenient (but chilly)

I didn't realize there was a difference between the Millenium and the Millenium Premier hotels. While the main hotel had a huge fancy lobby, the Premier had a small lobby with a small front desk but who needs a big desk and lobby. The attendant explained that the Premier is more for business and the regular is more for tourists. Our room was quite large for Manhattan and very comfortable. There was a full size couch (which is unusual), a desk, and a large bathroom. The room was much more spacious than I usually find in NYC. The bed was comfortable and the views of Times Square were great, even though the desk person told me the touristy hotel has better views. Breakfast was included (which wasn't much in light of Covid, but welcome) and they had a special deal for free parking, which was great. The only complaint I have is that the room was chilly and there were no extra blankets in the room, until I asked. And when I mentioned the temperature at checkout, that desk person was as chilly as the room - she said "I know but we don't have to provide heat after April 15." Kind of silly when there was a cold snap.

    Mediocre at best!

Great location for sure and great room size. The hotel is confusing as there are two hotels in one building but easy enough to accommodate. The room was large for the city. Overall clean but definitely needs to be revamped. My room smelt like cigarette smoke but the staff assured me the hotel was smoke free. I will say the carpeting and air vents needed replacement or a deep cleaning and walls needed cleaning as well. I was honestly a bit disappointed.

    Brocken toilet Boom Boom room.

The hotel is located right in Midtown where I had to stay. I would have never have stayed there otherwise. The toilet was broken and we were given every excuse as to why it wasn't fixed. The deluxe queen bed was more of a twin single but was actually comfy. Two big people would struggle. Despite the bed the walls are very thin and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the adjoining room. If you have children avoid at all costs! The decor is a little tired and there is no bar fridge. Bathrooms are clean and ok except for the toilet issue. I tried to change rooms and complain to the manager but I never got to speak to the manager or change rooms. This hotel just simply does not care. I was even given the excuse that this is a boutique hotel, boutique of what beats me?! There is also a constant pot smell in the lobby, lift and halls. The 'included' breakfast pack is pure sugar, but a nice gesture. There is a approximately a $35.00 per day resort type fee that you pay for at check in for the use of certain amenities (that you cannot use) so expect to have additional costs for nothing. This cost does cover WiFi and local calls, but in my experience this is usually free anyway. There is secure parking a few blocks away. Not sure if this is extra as my booking included this for free. This was very handy. But considering the hotel's overall performance, I would choose another hotel and just put your car in in a local garage usually around $50.00 to $60.00 per 24h.
