Bad management
Beautiful building but everyhtibg is very outdated from showers and sunks to restaurant tableware. This has a potential to be 5* hotel but it's run like 1* motel. Stuff is helpful and friendly, but management need to step up.

When was the last time this room was cleaned? I was very well aware this that this is an old property and I was ready for the outdated rooms but we walked into our rooms and there is dust everywhere, this room is filthy. Front desk staff are not the nicest. My daughter forgot her face mask and kindly asked for one and they said they didn’t have any.

Stay away. It ia very old and dirty. I had blood on my bedsheets and it want resolved until 1am. The bed was dirty and the bathrooms so moldy. They have a very very old tv and no plugs to charge your phone.

This property has all the potential in the world to Be an incredible experience for their guest, but, they lack from everything in the hotel playbook. Since I got to the hotel, the parking place was terrible, and stuff from the cleaning crew laying around, the bathroom was extremely dirty (looby bathroom), the rooms were exotic, but not that clean, the bathrooms had old towels, no hand or face towel, and seemed not taking care that well, beds were not a “hotel standard” and terrace was ok, Reality vs Expectation case once again, although the experience of staying at a castle, well, was nice.

Amazing!
I stayed at this amazing hotel for my anniversary with my husband. The castle is absolutely stunning! We had a balcony view facing the city and it was gorgeous. The staff was very helpful! The castle is about 10 minutes away from downtown Guanajuato and easy to locate. We had access to hot water, the rooms were clean and Wi-Fi service is only available in the lobby.
