MR stay.
I commented earlier about the minimum number of devices linked to wifi. I asked and was provided another pass code to add more devices. The hotel is a ver accommodating place. I had a business request and they met it easily. Thanks for a great stay when I was busy with work.

Wheelchair accessible room rating
Overall very nice hotel- clean, friendly staff, awesome pool and hot tub, good breakfast. However..... as a person with a disability the accessible room left much to be desired. It was difficult to access the bathroom as the pathway between the bed and the tv stand/ dresser was too narrow for even a small wheelchair to fit through. Thankfully, i can walk a little using a walker, but someone completely in a wheelchair would have extreme difficulty getting to the bathroom. Also, the floor was carpeted, which makes it harder to wheel a wheelchair or push a walker on. Worst of all was the tub/ shower. While it did have a clipped lower shower head, it was impossible for me to get into the shower. Not only because the tub edge was normal height but because the "accessible" shower seat was so small/ low to the ground that it was height of a stool (and could not be raised up) I can't see any person with a disability being able to use it. By contrast, when we stayed at a Travelodge, they had a shower bench- now that was awesome. I'm not really sure why this room was deemed accessible, other than the not good shower seat. There was an incline on the outside road to get into the door (ie not just a step). Overall- very nice hotel and my kids loved the pool and breakfast- but as a person with a disability, I couldn't recommend the accessible room to another person in a wheelchair.

Install an elevator!!!
We have to say we were a little upset when we went to our room which was 208, and discovered there was NO ELEVATOR in the building!!!! We are both over 70 years old and we had to CARRY our luggage and all the stuff we brought up the stairs!! We had brought extra luggage because we were attending a high school reunion and were unsure what we were going to wear. So we were very unhappy about that!! |We were not even told that when we checked in so imagine our surprise when we discovered there was no elevator!!!
