Rooms were nice but balcony wasn't clean.Window sills had moss growing on them (outside). Would have rated alot better if cleaner. Needs painting.

Ferrycarrig Hotel
Staff really nice and food was great😁
I booked the hotel on line a few weeks previous as we were attending a wedding. The person I was to go with pulled out and when I contacted the hotel earlier in the week about looking for a single room or even something off the price I was told it couldn't be done and that was very disappointing as €180 for 1 person b+b is extortion even if I was offered it for €150 it would have been nice so that for me would make me think twice going with my family or anyone else again!!!!

Bad experience
Terrible experience at the hotel. Was at a family wedding when I went to check it with my husband & twin boys age 4. I booked a family room & the girl in reception said I didn't I booked a twin. Then I showed her the booking with was a family room & then she said it will be an extra 40€ cos I have two kids. So I told her I wasn't paying the extra 40€ because I booked a family room for a reason. So after arguing for at least 15 mins the manged stepped in said it was ok. Totally ruined the start of the family wedding. Then when we went to check out they were trying to charge us for spa treatments that we didn't have. I wouldn't rate this hotel for service at all & would not class this as a 4 star hotel

Ferrycarrig Hotel
One of my favourite hotels in Ireland!
If you ever stay in this hotel make sure you get a room with a balcony, the views are stunning both day and night with either sunlight or moonlight reflecting off the bay in front of your room.

Ferrycarrig Hotel
Above and Behond exceptional customer service
Ferrycarrig Hotel policy is that there priorty is to ensure there guests have the best possible stay ..Well they certainly make sure of that and go above and behond wish is very rare in any form of business these days...After a few minor issues these were quickly addressed and dealt with in a true professional manner ....Nicola front of house at breakfast each morning is a breath of fresh air , her energy and charm is amazing and brings a smile to all around her , old school customer service and her passion for the job and the hotel stands out a mile 5* and more . Derek the General Manager has a real pride for the hotel and goes out of his way to ensure you have the best possible stay weather it be your room or your drink in the bar , All the staff are amazing , But Nicola and Derek are a fantastic credit to the hotel Can not recommend this place highly enough, plenty more visits to come
