Disappointing Experience @ Larkspur Landing Folsom
My recent stay at Larkspur Landing, Folsom was far from satisfactory. Despite a few positives, numerous drawbacks overshadowed my experience. Insufficient staffing resulted in poor service. I was told to collect extra towels from downstairs, a disappointing inconvenience. Room service was limited, only available on request. Breakfast lacked quality and variety. Green bananas and a lack of seating for more than a few guests left much to be desired. The business area lacked proper equipment, with guests using desks as breakfast tables. This hindered productivity. While the room was acceptable, the bathroom was deteriorating, and there were no soaps available. The lobby had an overpowering and repulsive smell, negatively impacting the hotel's ambiance. In conclusion, Larkspur Landing, Folsom falls short of expectations. Inadequate service, unsatisfactory breakfast, subpar business facilities, deteriorating bathroom conditions, and an unpleasant lobby smell contribute to my 2-star rating. I hope for improvements in the future.

I didn’t get the room type I reserved
I booked a room with two double beds. When we checked in, the hotel said all they had available was a room with one king bed. It was late so we had to settle for that even though my friend is very body conscious and was extremely uncomfortable.

A comfortable stay in Folsom
The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We found the scent from cleaning products a bit overwhelming but opening the window for a while cleared it out. Overall, a very pleasant overnight stay.

Everything was perfect
We spent 2 nights here. It was great! The room was big, 1 bedroom, 1 living room, restroom plus kitchen. We love the kitchen because we can cook by ourselves. The room was clean and quite. My kids loved it there.
